1) When I hear Hitler's name I think about the holocaust. Whether good or bad, it's just the first thing that comes to mind.
2) Yes. I don't really have any strong feelings towards Hitler.
3) I don't know a lot about Hitler's life. I just know that he had a rough childhood, but I don't know the details.
4) Although the means by which he did it might not have been the best, I do think Hitler benefited Germany. Although the process brought pain and suffering to some, in the end, Germany ended much better than it was before Hitler took power.
5) Yes. I think Hitler created a sense of security for the country. He made German people feel proud and brought a sense of strength to Germany. Germany has thereafter come a long way, I think as a result of that.
6) Yes. I think people fail to realize the prosperity Hitler actually brought to his country. I think when he was in power he only thought about doing what he believed was best for his country. People don't give him enough credit for that. People instead focus on the negative aspects of the process through which he restored strength in Germany.
7) I personally don't feel any particular feelings in regards to the Holocaust. I definitely don't agree with the mass murder of any group of people, but because I honestly think Hitler did it with the best intention in mind, I don't feel as angered by it.
8) I find this topic very interesting because I think everyone has a different view and opinion on it.
9) I think it might have been a serious problem when it was happening, but seeing as it has now been more than 60 years, I think there's nothing to do about it now. It can be brushed aside, especially since it seems to have a strong negative effect on people.
10) Yes. In a way, because Hitler himself was racist, if everyone viewed Hitler with an unbiased view, the people that now idolize Hitler would not be racist as a result of Hitler. There are people who are only racist because they think Hitler was correct in being racist. Viewing Hitler in in an unbiased way would reduce racism. From any perspective, people who view Hitler in a biased way tend to stereotype against a group of people.
